Community service, no guarantees
EZrider is a free community tool that shares MTA elevator and escalator data alongside reports from other riders. Data can be wrong or out of date. Do not rely on EZrider alone for safety-critical decisions — call the MTA at 511 for real-time authoritative information about a specific station.
Acceptable use
Only submit reports that reflect what you actually observed. Do not post harassment, threats, spam, or false information. We may remove reports and suspend accounts that violate this rule.
Rate limits
Anonymous accounts can post up to 2 reports per hour; signed-in accounts up to 20. Reports auto-expire after 2 hours if no other rider confirms them.
Your content
You keep ownership of the reports you post. By posting, you grant EZrider a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute them in the app.
No warranty; liability
EZrider is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZrider and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
